Then a truck driver spotted the getaway car, and within minutes, three large trucks surrounded it.
Jim Lowe heard an AMBER Alert when he recognized the car on Interstate 24. He checked the license plate, realized it matched, and immediately radioed the driver of the other truck ahead.
The truck drivers spread out onto the highway and positioned their trucks around the car. They surrounded it and began slowing down, ensuring the driver couldn't escape before police arrived.
Officers rushed in, apprehended the driver, and found 2-year-old Cael Whitehead inside the car, safe and unharmed.
The truck drivers had never met Cael, but when they realized the little boy was in the car next to them, they did everything they could to ensure he got home safely.
